Dr. Kym Lee-King is a wife, mother, celebrity makeup artist, CEO, bestselling author, beauty brand curator, empowerment speaker, and pastor of Israel Total Life Ministries, located in Waldorf, MD. Dr. Kym is a “Joe Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award” recipient for public service and graduated with honors from Bowie State University with a B.S. degree in Mass Communications/Journalism. She later pursued her law degree from Georgetown University with hopes of becoming a top entertainment lawyer. After finding her Vogue magazine pressed between the pages of her civil procedure books, she realized that her passion was not law but beauty.

Dr. Kym happily admits that her passion met her purpose while working in the entertainment industry for the past 25 years as a celebrity makeup artist. She began her career at BET, where she was the lead makeup artist for over 15 years. Dr. Kym is also the CEO of WinknPout Beauty, a full-service beauty brand that provides makeup, hair, wardrobe, beauty products, and an online training program for aspiring artists. Her brushes with fame include the late Whitney Houston, Cicely Tyson, Angela Bassett, Shonda Rhimes, Kerry Washington, Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mary Mary, Tasha Cobbs, Juanita Bynum, Venus and Serena Williams, and BET's former CEO Debra Lee, to name a few. As a national glam ambassador and style influencer, Kym's work has also graced the pages of major publications such as Essence, Ebony, Glamour, InStyle, Vogue, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Sheen, and People Magazine.

Dr. Kym is an active member of Angela Alsobrooks' Faith-Based Advisory Board. She also volunteers at women's shelters, curating beauty-related projects for teens and women in need, while serving some of the world's most noted celebrities through her business.

As a licensed pastor and marketplace minister, she affectionately calls her makeup case her pulpit as she spearheads monthly women’s groups to inspire attendees to live through their pain. Dr. Kym was led to pursue her Master’s Degree in Divinity with a concentration in Chaplain Ministry from Regent University and later received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity based on her outstanding accomplishments in ministry as well as in the community as a women's advocate for health and wellness. Dr. Kym also serves as the national brand ambassador for the USA Fibroid Centers, where she travels around the country encouraging women to improve their reproductive health by understanding their uterine health options and resources.
