Celebrity Makeup Artist to the Stars, Letitia Thornhill, has been gracing the faces of many for over 25 years. From a young age, she knew that this was her calling. Although she initially didn't realize she could build a flourishing career in this field, she pursued her dream of enhancing the lives of others through her gift. Letitia has had the pleasure of working with some of the most elite artists in the industry. Her work has been featured on a variety of platforms and red carpets, including BET, TV One, ABC, C-SPAN, Sister to Sister Magazine, DC Modern Magazine, and Capitol File magazine.

She has also toured the country with Miss USA and Miss Teen pageants, glamourizing contestants for their debuts. Additionally, Letitia traveled for many years with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, lavishing the beauties on exotic beaches. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to embellish numerous celebrities while traveling and working on movie sets as the department head. Her specializations include SFX makeup and much more. Her work has also been showcased on the runways of Michael Kors, Max Mara, Lafayette 148, and many other fabulous designers.

Letitia has traveled extensively for weddings and monumental events, where her clients seek her expertise in glamour. She prides herself on providing an exemplary, first-class makeup experience. Letitia has also worked for trailblazing companies such as MAC, NARS, Smashbox, La Prairie, and Dior, among others. Her extensive background in the cosmetic world has provided her with a wealth of knowledge in the art.

Letitia collaborates closely with renowned portrait photographer Jackie Hicks, and together they travel around the country speaking on photography and makeup techniques. Her handpicked team of MUAs consists of some of the elite professionals in the industry, coming together to create timeless masterpieces. Letitia passionately loves her craft and is dedicated to giving back to the community through mentoring makeup programs and classes for up-and-coming artists, or even just for everyday women.

She has worked with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and various charities including homeless shelters and battered women’s shelters. Letitia’s journey in makeup has been life-changing, particularly following the passing of her only sister from Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the tender age of 21. During her sister’s battle with cancer, Letitia regularly glamorized her through the pain, discovering the healing benefits of makeup as both a therapeutic tool for outward beauty and a source of inner strength.
